I’m not saying I am Wonder Woman, I’m just saying that no one has ever seen me and Wonder Woman in the same room.  👸

This quote tickles me and brings a catlike smile to my face every time I see it.

As women building our businesses, I believe we accomplish Wonder Woman tasks every day.

I am there for those days when your cape gets stuck in the door that you are trying to bust out of.

Running your business and Wonder Woman have a lot in common.

Based on my fifteen years of experience of running my own business that serves thousands of families every year and coaching other women business owners, I think you have to be

  • brave
  • focused
  • work with a great team
  • serve a community

You are brave.

The day you launched your business, you took a risk that most people never take.

  • I was working in a pressure cooker corporate job
  • 11 months pregnant with my third child
  • people who attended my event had to pay to park
  • it was way past consignment sale season – not a recipe for success.

I launched my business and never looked back.

This experience has served me well when I launched a tech tutorial membership 300 members strong.

I also see it in the clients I work with who push their comfort level to achieve personal goals.

You are focused.

To grow a business you have to stay focused on your goal.

Because my event is seasonal and I literally work with thousands of people, I focus on one thing at a time.

I start with a helicopter view and drill down on one specific area with finite detail.

I ask myself if I can sustain the change or system that I am implementing and what other areas will be impacted.

I am in it for the long-term.

This season’s goal is not a one and done, it is a marathon.

I found the same principle to be true in managing my membership.

I had an idea of how things would look when I started, but based on feedback and focus on my goal of customer service, the membership looks a lot different today than when I started.

With very little turn over rate, I know I am on the right path.

When clients come to work with me we are focused on just one goal.

Together, we breakdown the goal into actionable steps that show real progress in scaling their business.

Wonder Woman has some amazing tools and is 100% confident that they will serve her needs.

No more. No less.

It’s so easy to get distracted with shiny objects, but I have found that by focusing on tools that I am comfortable with and serve my business I can be successful.

You don’t need every tool.  You need the tools that work for you and your business.

No more. No less.

Do you have holes in your business that are costing you time and money?

Print out the monthly Business Optimizer to close the loop on any holes that has you spinning your wheels.

When it comes to delegation, you have to admit, Wonder Woman has a great team.

Before I understood the importance of delegating in my business, I was drowning and I talk about it here: When is it time to delegate in your business?

Like me, most people wait too long to delegate and get in their own way of scaling their business.  Delegation is a secret strategy to growing your business.

When I let go, my business exploded.

More importantly, I could handle the growth because I had a team in place focusing on just one thing.

I help my clients take the steps to grow a team based on their goals.

I also have a team that is ready to serve and implement the strategies that I design for my clients to scale their business.

Every season, an amazing group of women come together for the common goal of helping their families.  It has been described as a tiny city.

I think of it as a community helping one another and impacting beyond the walls of the building.

I have never taken it for granted and am humbled by it each and every season.

I know the internet seems big, think small and serve your community.  The results will amaze you and be the most rewarding thing you can do for your business.

So, I am not Wonder Woman, 👸 but

  • I finished a sprint triathlon in less than an hour.  🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️
  • My children have been viewed over 23 Million times in a lip sync video about how much they love their mama.
  • In high school I marched in the Macy’s Day Parade.
  • I have two English Mastiffs, Phil & Mabel that have a combined weight of over 300 lbs.
  • My current car has over 279,000 miles and I can’t wait till I hit 300,000 miles!

None of these things really have anything to do with my business, but I always ♥️ finding out quirky things about the people I work with in my business.

“Rhonda has played an integral roll in helping me streamline my business as I transitioned from a partnership to sole ownership. Her experience with building teams in event settings and simplifying processes has helped me move forward successfully and efficiently. She has also helped me develop an approach to online marketing that’s both streamlined and measurable. Rhonda is a great resource!”
